Tic Tac Toe Wreath

This week I went for the tic tac toe over at Share Joy Challenge. I also lifted the card idea from Taylors blog. The one on her blog was a lot prettier and I think I may have to try another one monochromatic like they did. Love having all the inspiration.

Felt Challenge

The PapertreyInk challenge for this week was to use felt on a card. I love felt and actually did something very exciting with it for the first time. You can't see it on my card as my flowers look like regular die cut flowers, but they aren't. I cut them with my Silhouette! I have the Twig Wreath stamp set and I stamped the images on my Pixscan mat and then used it to cut out my felt flowers. I have never done that before and now that I know I can I love my Silhouette even more than before. Thanks for the challenge Papertrey.

Ruff Day?

This week I used the Share Joy sketch. I just love using this dog stamp and deciding which facial expression to give him.

Freezin' Season

This week I used the Share Joy challenge to make a winter card for a friend. Since we had snow last week it was perfect. I also thought the sketch was perfect for the mitten banner.

Not a Turkey

For this weeks Share Joy challenge I took the easy way out and used the sketch. I just love the puns and couldn't wait to start making my Thanksgiving cards. This sketch was great inspiration as I didn't know what my card layout would be. Thanks for the inspiration Share Joy.

Thanks a Bunch

This week at ShareJoy I used the photo inspiration for this very clean and simple thank you card. I still have problems lining up the flowers without a stamp thingy but flowers aren't perfect and neither is my card.

Cheers

This weeks Make It Monday Challenge was to use a focal grouping. I played around with several stamp sets before settling on the Uncorked set. It was perfect timing for a friend's birthday, yes she is a wine drinker. Cheers

Happy Halloween

This weeks Share Joy Challenge was a sketch or Tic Tac Toe. Since I had so much fun with the Tic Tac Toe last time I decided to do it again. I went for the top row with pumpkin, watercolor, and die cut. This is a lift from a card that I pinned last year. Then when I went back to see who made the card it was Jen Shults that's on the design team. Thanks for your inspiration Jen. I changed it up a little by making my own pumpkin die with my silhouette and adding a bow. I think it turned out cute. I have to make several Halloween cards to send to my Niece and Nephews who are in college, so this has me off to a nice start.

Share Joy #6

I am really enjoying the Share Joy challenges from Taylored Expressions. This makes #6 and it was very inspirational. I just happened to need a get well card for my father in law so this stamp was perfect for the photo inspiration. It kinda has a Halloween feel to it because of the colors, but I'm okay with that.

Rise & Shine

This week I went for the color combo challenge over at Share Joy. It was harder than I thought to get those four colors together. I'll be sending this card to my aunt who is a coffee drinker.

Knit Happens

This week I used the sketch over at the Share Joy challenge to make this card. I love puns and this Grumpy Grumplings stamp set is perfect.

Tic Tac Toe

This weeks Share Joy Challenge was another fun one. I chose to do the Tic Tac Toe as I had never done a challenge like this before. I went for the middle row and used sequins, twine, and embossing. I also made a birthday square for a fourth spot. I have 3 birthdays next week so it was nice to make another card to send. I also love using my Grumplings Birthday stamp set.

Perfect Pearls Wreath

Today I created a card to play along with another challenge over at Papertrey Ink. I was inspired by Nicole Heady's use of perfect pearls on this wreath card. So I made my own wreath card and used perfect pearls on the berries and flowers. I just received the stamp set Twig Wreath and was very excited to use it for the first time.  I see a lot of possibilities for this set.

Camouflaged Pocket

This weeks Make it Monday Challenge at PapertreyInk is to make a camouflaged pocket tag. I just got this Uncorked stamp set in the mail and couldn't wait to use it for a thank you gift. This challenge was perfect timing. I also used the little greenery from the set Happiness in Bloom and a little cork backing to go with the wine theme. I can't wait to give this gift to a wonderful health care provider that went beyond her duty with me. I think the handmade tag makes it even more special.

Share Joy Challenge #1

I'm so excited to be playing along in the first Taylored Expressions Share Joy Challenge. Woo Hoo! For this challenge you can use the sketch and/or the colors. I tried to use the sketch but it just wasn't working with the stamps I wanted to use, so I used the colors.
I used the Dotted Lattice embossing folder which is one of my favorites lately and the Simply Stamped- Zinnias. I can't wait for the next week and the next challenge.

Watercolor Beer

I love my new die and stamp set from PaperTrey Ink. It makes the best masculine cards. This weeks challenge was to watercolor with a die. I think my shadow turned out pretty good. Love the new TH Hickory Smoke color.

On the Mend

This weeks Make It Monday challenge over at Papertrey Ink was to make a custom border.  I used the stamp sets Button Boutique and Quilters Sampler to make this get well card.  I love the sentiment.

Pucker Up

This challenge from Papertrey Ink was so much fun.  I never would have thought to use glossy accents to make it look like condensation.  I love how it turned out.
