FELT

This week I went with the Clean & Simple challenge at Share Joy. I love love love their 100% felt and I just got this new die called Full Bloom and knew it would be perfect for a Mothers Day card. I liked how it turned out so much I made a card for a friend too. I can see using this die a lot in the future.

Papertrey April Blog Hop Challenge

I love a challenge that gets me thinking and using stamps I haven't used in a while. I used stamps from 3 different sets to make this card and I'm ready for Fathers Day!

Faux Brush Lettering

I just got my new King of the Grill stamp set in the mail and had to use it for this weeks MIM challenge at PapertreyInk. The challenge was to use a stamp to make it look like you brushed a word on instead of stamping. I used the word Celebrate from the Uncorked stamp set to make this masculine birthday card.

Thank You

This week I made another thank you card for the Share Joy challenge. I used the tic tac toe and the sketch to make this card. My tic tac toe row was gradient/flowers/yellow. I popped the flowers up to give it a little dimension.

Photo Inspiration

This week for the Share Joy Challenge I decided to use the photo for inspiration. I hardly ever use a photo inspiration so it was a good challenge for me. I've been making a lot of simple cards lately. I like it.

Color Isolation

This week the challenge at PapertryInk is Color Isolation. I think I made the care correctly. I love the Winter Woods stamp set and was excited to make my bird into a goldfinch for the challenge. Simple and ready to go into the mail.

Color Chalenge

This week I used the color challenge over at Share Joy. It was perfect for this spring card I wanted to make a friend who has had a tough time of it lately. I don't think that you can see it very well but I used glossy accents on the boots and all the raindrops. Yes that took a little bit of time but was worth it.

Score Challenge

Today I needed a birthday card for my niece and there was a Papertreyink challenge to score your card so this worked out perfect. I made another one with patterned paper but really liked how this one turned out just using the white. It's a little hard to see the score lines around the edge. but they are there and it definitely adds to the card. I used the Birthday Bash Sentiments stamp and I cut out the cake with my trusty Silhouette.
