MoJo Time

It seems I have lost my mojo for a while so I went to MoJo Mondays challenge for a sketch and some inspiration. They have some great cards over there as usual. My card turned out pretty simple but I wanted a 4th of July card to send and the sketch worked. Now I just need to get it in the mail and hope it gets there on time.

Banana Split Sunday

This week our challenge is an inspiration challenge. Go to the 2RedBananas blog to see the photo that inspired me to make this card, as well as some of the other bananas take on the card. This kind of challenge really makes you put on your creative cap so I hope you join us this week.

Moo-velous Tuesday

Today I'm posting a card I made with a set called "Tilly". It's from Cookie Crumbs designs and you can find it at 2RedBananas. It is the most adorable set. And being from Iowa with lots of cows it is perfect for cards. It has about 11 different sentiments from birthday, anniversary to have a moo-velous day! I can't wait to make more cards with it. In addition to the new stamp I also used glimmer mist again on the flower for just a little sparkle. Lots of fun!

House Mouse Challenge

Today 2RedBananas is sponsoring a sketch challenge over at the House Mouse blog. I used this really cute stamp to make a get well card. One of my earlier cards I used some glimmer mist and I used it again on this card. Its a little hard to see but I sprayed my ribbon and the green circle. I also sprayed it onto some velum and paper pieced the kleenex. Have fun with this challenge, I know I did.

New Release

I totally forgot to blog today. Today 2RedBananas releases 4 new stamp sets and this is one of the new ones called Play Your Game. Sorry I'm so late, just totally forgot. The really silly thing is I know I was thinking about baseball and that is what is on this card. My son made the all star team again this year and I'm so proud of him, plus we have an AAU tournament this week end so all I'm thinking about is baseball. This card was fun to make, I added some glimmer mist on the player and did a little sewing, always a favorite. Be sure to check out the other stamp sets and the other bananas take on this set.

Sneak Peak - Goalie

Todays sneak peak is another new stamp set from 2RedBananas called "Goalie". It's perfect for an inspiration card or a thank you card like I made. There is another set that has a baseball player that would also be fun for coach cards and scrapbooking. Tomorrow the sets will be released so check back with the bananas.

Sneak Peak - June

Today I have a sneak peak for a new 2RedBananas stamp set called June Journaling. It is oh so cute and perfect for summer. It has this ice cream cone as well as a popsicle journaling block and this fun summer sentiment. My card is simple but nice and bright because sometimes that's all you need. Be sure to check out the other bananas sneak peaks. The stamps will be released on Wed. 17th

Hydrangeas

Today I took the Scrappy Sunday Challenge over at PCP. They always have great sketches over there and I really wanted to scrap these photos. They had a challenge about mothers day but I didn't get it done, so better late then never. If you can't see I hand wrote my journaling. I am going to make an effort to do more of that. Especially on very meaningful pages.

House Mouse Challenge

Today I took part in one of my favorite challenges over at House Mouse. I think those stamps are so cute but I just don't have very many of them. I always check out their challenge and see if I have any images that will work. This week the challenge was to use red, white, and blue. Of course you think 4th of July but I don't have any like that. But I did think of my little mouse in his lobster suit and that was red, so it works. Plus every time I use this stamp it makes me smile.

March Layout?

Well today I'm playing a little catch up. Every month 2RedBananas puts out a new journaling stamp and I decided that I would do a page every month. Well I did pretty good getting Jan & Feb done right away, but you can see now I am behind just getting March done. The journaling block was a kite but I used it as a baseball diamonds since that was all we did in March. Hopefully I'm on a roll now and will get April and May done as well. The June journaling stamp will be coming out next Monday so be sure to look for that.

Banana Split Sunday Challenge

This weeks Banana Split Sunday Challenge is called Pattern Frenzy. That's right you have to use at least three different patterned papers on your project. This was a fun one for me. I used paper all from one line to make it easier. The paper is from October Afternoon and you can find that as well as the quote at the 2RedBananas site.

MoJo Challenge

Today I took the Mojo sketch challenge. Any time I find paper that I think I can use for a sympathy card I use it. I really like this paper from SEI but when I looked at it I just saw a sympathy card. I have a little ribbon on there which reminds me that the 2RedBananas challenge this week is Tied up with Ribbon so hope over there and submit a card as there is a ribbon prize this week.
